NINL and RINL Pig Iron prices quoted at Rs 23,500/MT might be changed on December 17.
Company officials mentioned that market is being observed and a decision will be taken accordingly.
Around 8,000 tons of Pig Iron has been purchased by domestic buyers this month from RINL in bulk quantities i.e. on discounts being offered. In November, RINL sold 32,000 tons in domestic market.
Response from international buyers was quite poor for 30,000 tons Pig Iron exports tender floated by NINL and RINL each last month.
NINL has cancelled the tender. Whereas, RINL has extended the date up to December 20.
