1. Indian domestic CRC prices remained stable this week.
2. Manufacturers held offers in anticipation that safeguard duty will be imposed by Indian government on hot rolled products.
3. Current offers for 0.9 mm CRC are assessed at INR 37,000/MT (ex-Mumbai), INR 39,000/MT (ex-Ludhiana) and INR 37,500/MT (ex-Chennai). All prices include 12.5% Excise.
4. Imported offers for commercial grade 0.9 mm CRC from China are assessed at USD 400/MT, CIF India and USD 440-450/MT from Japan and Korea.
5. Last month a bulk shipment of CRC arrived at Indian port from Ukraine. As per sources, material was landed at about USD 415/MT, CIF India.
