Odisha based major merchant miner-Rungta Mines has kept iron ore prices stable as of now. The miner produced 1.62 MnT iron ore in May’15 and 1.16 MnT iron ore in June’15.

Iron ore production fell last month owing to monsoon. Demand for lump continues to remain weak while bookings for fines have remained descent. Looking at the current scenario, miners are hesitant to cut prices and are yet to take a call on it.
