Billet offers are being raisedacross India after a continuous downward movement for sometime now.
Manufacturers raised prices up to Rs 700/MT the last day, which have increased up to Rs 500/MT more today, as mentioned:
Raipur Rs 500/MT, Bhilai and Jaipur Rs 300/MT, Mandi and Goa Rs 200/MT, Rourkela, Durgapur and Kolkata Rs 100/MT.
“Though, demand in structural steel has not moved up but due to some buying in re-bar, sales of Billet should be good in the days ahead, provided offers are maintained”, said traders.
