UK
and European suppliers have kept the ferrous scrap export offers to India
unchanged at 390-410/MT CFR Nhava Sheva Mumbai. HMS 1&2 (80:20) and
shredded scrap are being transacted at $400/MT CFR and $410/MT CFR Mumbai respectively.
A
major importer in western part of the country has imported a small tonnage of
200 MT of HMS (80:20) from Dubai at $385/MT CFR, with the average container
loading of 22 MT.
Market
activities are improving in line with the fare demand in the western region
owing to the strong sentiments in finished product market. Demand is likely to
improve as market sources told SteelMint.
