SAIL intends to appoint a steel conversion agent for conversion of semis into finished products at Nagpur.
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), one of the largest Steel producers in India, tenders for appointment of Conversion Agent(s) for converting Semi finished steel materials into Rounds, Flats and Structures at Nagpur. There will be one appointment of conversion agent for flats and rounds, one conversion agent for medium structures and one for heavy structural conversion.
Tenderer should be a bonafide, resourceful, financially sound person(s)/firm(s)/ company(s) for appointment as Conversion Agent(s) willing to offer total capacity of their plant as per production requirement of SAIL.
The converted finished material will be of grade IS 2062/2011.
