Billet buyers based in South India are making some purchases from Central part of the country as offers of the semi finished material are standing at high levels in Hyderabad.
Improvement in sales of re-bars and structures has accounted for a better demand of Billet in the local market and increase in prices by Rs 300/MT to Rs 30,300-400/MT (Ex works Raipur).
“There are chances that Billet prices might stand in more or less the same range for few more days as a major rise in offers is not foreseen”, said traders.
