Billet was offered at Rs 34,400/MT (Inclusive of ED & taxes) on the 24th and in a week, prices move up by Rs 1,100/MT on improving local sales.
Price rise in other locations: Goa Rs 900/MT, Chennai and Raipur Rs 800/MT, Rourkela Rs 700/MT, Raigarh Rs 600/MT, Jaipur Rs 500/MT and Mandi Rs 200/MT.
In the coming week, Billet prices across India should improve further with no downward trend foreseen.
