Continuing the uptrend, Spot iron ore prices increased further by USD 1/MT.
Spot iron ore prices in China have moved up by 1.6% further. Fines (Fe 62%) is at USD 62.1/MT, CFR China. There was demand seen for certain grades.
Market experts are of the view that the surge in prices is temporary and prices might fall as some more iron ore vessels are expected to arrive in China. Prices are expected to remain more or less stable over waning demand in construction sector.
