Emirates Steel, one of the leading steel producers in the UAE, has increased rebar offers by around $15/t (AED 55/t) m-o-m for Feb’24 deliveries. Revised offers stood at $750/t exw (AED 2,755/t) compared to $735/t exw (AED 2,699/t) last month, sources informed. Rise in UAE’s scrap prices along with steel prices have pushed up offers for this month, BigMint noted.
