Pellet prices in eastern India which had fallen by INR 200/MT last week, continue to remain stable over limited trading activities.
Eastern India continues to witness weak demand with falling prices of Pellet Sponge. In Barbil, pellet prices for Fe 63% are at INR 4,500/MT (loaded to wagons).
In Central India, pellet prices have maintained at similar levels as that in last week. In Raipur, prices for Fe 63% pellets are in the range of INR 5,900-6,000/MT (basic). A Raipur based Pellet maker shared-”Scenario is comparatively better in Central India. We have booked orders for Fe 63% pellets at INR 6,000/MT”.
Pellet prices in southern India have also fallen over falling prices of Pellet sponge. Pellet sponge prices have fallen by INR 450/MT in last 1 month. Currently, prices for Fe 62 % pellets are at INR 5,000/MT (basic).
In Gujarat, pellet offers have remained unchanged at INR 5,600-5,700/MT delivered Kandla.
