About 40 mnt of crude steel production capacity has been transformed in China in Jan-Mar’23 with the ultra-low emission process, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said in a press conference held yesterday. It further informed that the transformation process is progressing smoothly. China has decided to maintain an annual decline in its crude steel output to reduce the carbon footprint.
