The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) is expected to increase power tariff to INR 475 per KVA per month for energy intensive industries at par with the HT industry. This change may have a direct impact on ferro alloys pricing and market dynamics. However, no such hike is expected for low-tension industries and domestic users, sources informed.
