China’s ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry has reported a loss of RMB 10.1 ($1.46) billion during Jan-Feb’23, down 151.1% on the year, as per data from National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Operating income during the period fell by 6.7% y-o-y to RMB 119.65 ($17.39) billion. Operating costs were at RMB 115.286 ($16.76) billion, down 4.4% y-o-y.
