Turkiye: Imported scrap prices fall to a month low

Turkiye’s imported scrap prices fell to a month low in a recently booked US-origin bulk cargoes deal.
It contained HMS (80:20) at $444/t, shredded and bonus were at $464/t each, sold to a West Marmara region-based steel mill. The same buyer booked another cargo from a recycler, comprising HMS (85:15) at $446/t and shredded at $461/t CFR.
SteelMint’s price assessment for US-origin HMS stood at $445/t CFR.
