- Vedanta had conducted an auction for sale of 8,000 t of iron ore lumps (6-20mm, Fe58.5%) from its A. Narrain mines in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district. The entire quantity was booked at a base price of INR 3,961/t.
- Meanwhile, SMIORE’s 1,000 t of fines (Fe57.2%) auction received no bids. The floor price was INR 3,250/t.
- Vedanta’s prices exclude royalty, unlike SMIORE.
