China: ROM iron ore output rises 4% y-o-y in Jan-Feb’23

China, world’s largest iron ore consumer, recorded run of mine (ROM) production at 150.35 mnt in Jan-Feb’23, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The production volume registered an increase of 3.7% y-o-y. In CY22, China recorded ROM production at 967.87 mnt, down by a marginal 1% compared to the previous calendar year.
