India: Around 115,000 t iron ore booked at KSMCL’s auction from Karnataka

KSMCL concluded an iron ore auction for 263,300 t in Karnataka’s Bellary on 21 Mar’23.

• 20,000 t of lumps (10-40mm, Fe63.22%) was booked at INR 4,182/t.
• 28,000 t of lumps (10-40mm, Fe63.97%) got sold at INR 4,302-4,312/t.
• 8,000 t of lumps (10-40mm, Fe62.27%) was booked at 4,119/t.
• 6,300 t of fines (Fe53.25%) was booked at INR 2,091/t.
• 52,000 t of fines (Fe52.31%) got sold at INR 1,954/t.
• Prices exclude royalty, DMF, and NMET.
