SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) conducted an auction for 5,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 22 Mar’23. Of this, 2,500 t (50%) was booked at INR 39,480/t exw, sources informed. Bids dropped INR 520/t compared to the last auction on 16 Mar’23, at which 3,300 t was booked, out of 4,000 t on offer, at an average price of INR 40,000/t exw.
