Steel major SAIL had conducted an auction for 7,000 t (60 kg) of full-length commercial rails on 21 Mar’23 from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). Sources informed that buyers booked only 3,250 t at a weighted average price of INR 41,000/t exw. At the previous auction on 11 March, out of 7,000 t of rails (60 kg) on offer, buyers booked only 1,000 t at INR 41,500/t exw.
