High raw material prices such as iron ore and coke and increase in values of Billet in Tangshan (China) push up Pig Iron (steel) offers by RMB 80/MT in a couple of days.
Prig Iron prices in Tangshan are standing in the range of RMB 2,830-2,850/MT from previous prices at RMB 2750/MT (17% VAT included on cash payment).
But there has been no major improvement on the demand side due to which prices might not sustain at current levels and witness some reduction.
