South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) has been granted approval to expand the mining capacity of two of its mega coal projects in Chhattisgarh. The company has received consent to operate Gevra mine at increased capacity rising from 49 mnt to 52.5 mnt annually, while, for the Dipka project, the expansion was permitted from the existing capacity of 35 mnt to 37.5 mnt per annum.
