Taiwan: Ferrous scrap imports increase by 21% m-o-m in Feb’23

Taiwan’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 231,977 t in Feb’23, an increase of 21% m-o-m compared to 191,654 t in Jan’23.
The US continued to be the top exporter at 98,122 t, followed by Japan and Australia at 63,524 t and 18,060 t, respectively.
On a y-o-y basis, imports remained largely stable as compared to 233,217 t in Feb’22.
