“NINL has extended date to the 11th of January for opening price bids of its 60,000 tons (two lots of 30,000 tons each) steel Pig Iron exports tender.
Stemcor, the world's largest steel trader bid low for the material the last day.
Exports market has no doubt improved in the beginning of this year and we are hopeful of some better response”, shared a senior official of NINL with SteelMint.
He mentioned that the company is currently holding inventory of 1,00,000 tons Pig Iron.
As per target, NINL is planning to sell out the rest 40,000 tons of Pig Iron to domestic takers at Rs 22,000/MT (Ex works Cuttack) with further discounts.
