Export offers of hot-dipped galvanised iron (HDGI) coils (0.50mm, 900-1,250mm) from India rose by $10/t w-o-w to $990/t FOB west coast against $980/t FOB a week ago. Improved global prices for substrate HRC and CRC pushed mills to raise HDGI offers as well, a source said. India’s galvanised steel exports in Feb’23 increased m-o-m to 0.19 mnt against 0.14 mnt in Jan’23.
