Major merchant miners in Odisha have maintained the same prices as of now. They had recently reduced prices. Iron ore availability in Odisha has improved slightly. KJS Ahluwalia has resumed Iron ore sales after a period of an year.
Supplementary lease deed of 19 mining leases have been executed so far. And few more mines are expected to resume sales next week. Thus, raw material availability is likely to increase further. The mines will be reopened as per the provisions of the new Mines & Mineral (Development & Regulation) Act, 2015.
Iron ore prices have fallen in Jharkhand too. Rungta Mines is offering Fe 63% fines at INR 2,350/MT (as per loaded into wagons in Jharkhand).
