South Korean ports received more imported scrap this week after declining the previous weeks. Around 144,569 t of ferrous scrap were expected to arrive at major ports this week, an increase of 32,000 t from the week before.

The increase in arrivals is due to POSCO’s import volume, which has significantly increased after not improving since the flood damage in September.
