Decent demand has accounted for a stability in Iron ore Pellet market for last one week.
A senior official of a major Pellet producing plant at Barbil (Odisha) says, “No steps have been taken yet for infrastructural development which would push up either the demand or price of Pellet, though sponge iron and re-bar offers have improved.
We are able to sell out a decent quantity at Rs 7,700-800/MT (Ex works Barbil)”.
Scope for imports is limited and manufacturers in Jharsuguda (Odisha) are not offering Pellets currently.
