Nepal: Rebars offers rise w-o-w on higher billets import offers, power crisis

Nepal’s domestic rebars offers have risen by around NPR 2,000/t ($15/t) w-o-w this week. Current prices of 12mm rebars are in the range of NPR 94,000-96,000/t ($720-735/t) exw, excluding VAT, SteelMint noted. A hike in billets import offers and power crisis have resulted in a hike in rebars offers by mills.
