Turkiye: Import ferrous scrap deals resume after a week

  • Turkiye’s ferrous scrap prices remain rangebound in recently concluded deals from the UK and France.
  • A UK-origin bulk cargo was booked by an East Marmara-based mill comprising HMS(80:20) at $455/t followed by shredded and bonus at $475/t CFR Turkiye.
  • A France-origin cargo was sold to the same mill with 10,000 t HMS(80:20) at $448/t CFR, SteelMint learnt from sources.
