India: Bulk ferrous scrap imports drop nearly 30% m-o-m in Feb’23

India’s bulk ferrous scrap imports fell by 27% m-o-m to 300,517 t in Feb’23, according to SteelMint data.
Bulk scrap Imports kept dropping after hitting an all-time high of 462,561 t in Dec’22.
The US and UK were the top exporters in the month at 207,612 t and 54,600 t, respectively, followed by Venezuela at 38,305 t.
