- R Praveen Chandra conducted an auction for 64,000 t of iron ore fines on 2 Mar’23, out of which 4,000 t (Fe58.50%) were booked at INR 2,889/t and another 4,000 t (Fe61.50%) at INR 3,267/t.
- Meanwhile, U Krishna Prasad’s auction for 8,000 t of fines (Fe61.67%) and SKMEPL’s for 20,000 t of lumps (Fe63.5-64.5%) got no takers.
- U Krishna Prasad and SKMEPL’s prices include royalty, unlike R Praveen Chandra’s auction.
