India: NMDC’s iron ore production up, sales down m-o-m in Feb’23

NMDC, India’s largest iron ore miner, produced 4.48 mnt of raw material in Feb’23, up by 7% from 4.20 mnt in January.
However, cumulative production in Apr-Feb’23 fell by 4% to 35.62 mnt compared to 37.18 mnt in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, iron ore sales inched down by 1% m-o-m to 3.78 mnt in Feb’23.
