India: JSPL increases flat steel prices by INR 1,500/t ($18/t) for early-March

Indian private steel major, Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL), has increased flat steel prices by INR 1,500/t ($18/t) for early-March sales, sources informed SteelMint. Effective prices:

• HRC (IS2062, 2.5-8mm): INR 62,500/t ($758/t)
• HR plates (E250, 20-40mm): INR 69,000/t ($836/t)
• Prices are exy-Mumbai, exclusive of GST at 18%.
