Odisha based Serajuddin Mines has reduced Iron ore lump prices by INR 500/MT and fines prices by INR 200/MT.
Serajuddin Mines has reduced Iron ore prices by upto INR 500/MT. The miner had last reduced prices on 05 Feb, 2015 by upto INR 500/MT.

Iron ore supply in domestic market is likely to increase with opening up of mines under MMDR (Amendment) Act, 2015. Falling sales over subdued demand from Sponge & Pellet makers are the reasons behind reduction in prices.
Recently Odisha government has signed supplementary lease deed with 10 mines , out of 29 mines, which have been cleared under MMDR act. Market is hopeful that these mines will resume operations by month end.
Serajuddin Mines Iron ore production was about 5.2 MnT Iron ore in FY 15 against 8.3 MnT in FY14. The miner has an EC limit of 15.15 MnT pa. It dispatched 1.1 MnT Iron ore in Apr’15.
