India: 12,000 t of iron ore lumps sold at R Praveen Chandra’s auction from Karnataka

R Praveen Chandra conducted an auction to sell 24,000 t of iron ore lumps from Chitradurga, Karnataka on 27 Feb’23.

• 8,000 t of lumps (Fe57.7%) were booked at the base price of INR 3,796/t.
• 4,000 t of lumps (Fe62.8%) were booked at INR 5,260/t against the base price of INR 4,660/t.
• Prices were exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
