Steel billet and rebar prices continued to head north owing to a decrease in the supply of billet amid restrictions in gas supplies, a rise in the exchange rate, and the country’s billet export prices.
- Billet prices increased by 29,000 Rial/kg to 265,500 Rial/kg as against 22 Feb’23.
- Rebar prices stood at 327,000 Rial/kg on 27 Feb, up sharply by 39,000 Rial/kg.
