China: Steel billets prices edge down by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d

Domestic billets prices in China’s Tangshan fell d-o-d by RMB 20/t ($3/t) to RMB 3,930/t ($565/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 24 Feb’23.
Declines in futures and finished steel prices have weighed on billets prices, SteelMint noted.
China’s SHFE rebars futures contract for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,224/t ($607/t), a marginal decrease of RMB 4/t ($1/t) d-o-d.
