Aluminium scrap prices in India remained stable d-o-d on 23 Feb’23. Prices of tense were recorded at INR 162,000/t ($1,956/t) and utensils at INR 172,000/t ($2,078/t) exy and excluding GST. Sources informed that transactions had been moderate for specific grades like utensils and extrusion, despite a decrease in LME futures by 0.87% today to $2,397/t along with price cut announcements by primary players like Hindalco and Balco.
