State-owned SAIL has concluded a reverse auction for 1,750 t of medium carbon (MC) silico manganese (grade: 55-20, size:10-100 mm) for its Salem Steel Plant (SSP), Tamil Nadu, on 22 Feb’23. The material was booked at around INR 115,884/t on FOR, inclusive of GST and GEM portal charges. After realisation, prices are at around INR 89,000/t on exw, sources informed.
