Brazil: Ferro silicon exports inch down 2% m-o-m in Jan’23

Brazil’s ferro silicon exports inched down by 2% m-o-m to 13,974 t in Jan’23 in comparison with 14,199 t in Dec’22, as per customs data. The leading importers were Japan (4,811 t), the United States (3,509 t), and the Netherlands (1,666 t). However, on a y-o-y basis, exports rose by 37% compared to 10,237 t in Jan’22.
