CIL records rise in Production by about 10.5% in first Month of the Fiscal against 37.51MnT in April’14

India’s Largest Coal Producer, CIL has Produced about 4 MnT more Coal in Apr’15, compared to the corresponding month in last fiscal.

With a determination to achieve target of about 550 MnT Coal production in the current fiscal,CIL has produced about 41.5 MnT of Coal exceeding the target set for Apr‘15. Whereas, Coal off take was registered to be 43.52 MnT compared to 40.5 MnT in Apr’14.

Last year a target of 505 MnT of Coal production was set for CIL. But it produced about 494 MnT, missing its Coal production target by about 3%. This year CIL has been allocated a production target of 550 MnT.
