Pakistan: Steel mills raise rebars offers by PKR 5,000-6,000/t ($19-23/t)

Pakistan’s steel makers – Agha Steel, Amreli Steel, and Faizan Steel – have raised rebars offers by PKR 5,000-6,000/t ($19-23/t).
Fresh offers for deformed grade-60 rebar (10-12 mm) are at PKR 306,000- 307,500/t exw ($1,154-1,159/t), including taxes, effective 15 Feb’23.
Mills have revised prices amid severe supply chain disruptions, an increase in GST by 1% to 18%, and a sharp hike in SSGC tariff.
