Steel billet and reinforcing bar prices in Iran continued to rise sharply amid cold weather in the region and the scarcity of direct reduced iron (DRI) supply in the domestic market, sources informed.
- Steel billet prices rose sharply by 11,000 Rial/kg to 209,500 Rial/kg as against 13 Feb’23.
- Rebar prices stood at 250,000 Rial/kg on 15 Feb, an increase of 5,000 Rial/kg.
