Taiwan: Flat steel exports up 7% m-o-m in Jan’23

Taiwan’s flat steel exports stood at 0.6 mnt in Jan’23, up 7% as against 0.56 mnt a month ago, according to SteelMint data. HRCs and plates exports rose 5% to 0.34 mnt while exports of CRCs increased by 31% to 0.08 mnt last month. Japan, Malaysia and Belgium were the leading importers at 0.08 mnt, 0.07 mnt and 0.06 mnt, respectively.
