Taiwan: Ferrous scrap imports decrease 19% m-o-m in Jan’23

Taiwan’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 191,654 t in Jan’23, a decline of 19% m-o-m compared to Dec’22.
The US continued to be the top exporter at 81,931 t, followed by Japan and the Dominican Republic at 41,591 t and 19,295 t, respectively.
On a y-o-y basis, the country’s ferrous scrap imports dropped by 9% compared to 211,103 t in Jan’22.
