South Korean steel majors adjust scrap procurement prices after a week

  • South Korean steel producers revised their scrap purchase prices by KRW 10,000/t ($8/t) with effect from 14 Feb’23, as per a SteelDaily report.
  • POSCO increased its scrap buy prices for its Pohang plant. However, Korea Steel is lowering its scrap purchase price by KRW 10,000/t.
