SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has scheduled an auction for 10,100 t (60 kg and 52 kg, full length) of commercial rails on 17 Feb’23. At its last auction on 8 Feb’23, out of 10,100 t, only 1,500 t were booked and the remaining quantity remained unsold due to a high base price. 60 kg rails were booked at INR 42,800/t ex-works while 52 kg material remained unsold.
