China: Baosteel hikes flat steel prices by up to $44/t m-o-m for Mar’23

World’s top steel manufacturer, Baosteel, has raised HRC, CRC and HDG prices by RMB 200/t ($29/t) m-o-m and heavy plates prices by RMB 300/t ($44/t) for Mar’23 sales, sources informed SteelMint. The company has raised prices for the third consecutive month amid rising global HRC prices, increasing raw material costs and expected demand recovery.
