China: CISA affiliated mills’ steel inventory hits three-month high in late-Jan’23

Steel inventory of CISA affiliated mills has touched a three-month high level in late-Jan’23 owing to Lunar New Year holidays. The volume was recorded at 16.48 mnt, increasing by 0.41 mnt or 2.6% compared to 16.07 mnt in mid-Jan’23.
The average daily crude steel output of these mills stood at 1.98 mnt in late Jan, up 3% from mid-Jan.
